If it's your first time coming to SumRed Church (or even church itself) we know you might have some questions.

Below are some answers to questions we hear now and then. But if you have any other specific questions please feel free to contact us!

I'm not sure what I believe. Can I come to church?

A lot of people who call our church home didn't go to church before getting involved at SumRed, so if you're a newbie to faith (or just dipping your toe in) you're in good company and 100% welcome regardless of your spiritual orientation.

What should I wear?

Tbh God has no interest in what you wear and neither do we! Some people choose to dress up a little but it's not uncommon to have others rocking up barefoot in their boardies! Please come as you are or as you feel most comfortable.

Does it cost money?

No. One of the reasons Christianity is such good news is because God’s forgiveness is a gift. It’s not something we earn or pay for — it’s freely given, and so is church. Everyone is invited to come as they are, with no expectation to contribute financially. We never ask guests to cover costs, and there’s no charge to attend any of our services or events. Church is a place of grace, not pressure.

Can anyone come?

The message about Jesus is the best news in the world, and is for everyone! We’re always delighted to welcome anyone and everyone whatever your background, spiritual orientation, age, or gender.

My kids get nervous without me but are also kinda noisy...

We love mess, noise, and kids of all ages at SumRed. Our 1030am service has age appropriate groups for kids to attend but if they'd rather stay in with you, that's absolutely fine! We genuinely don't mind having kids make noise in any of our services so please never feel bad!
