We believe that young people thrive when they’re connected — to each other, to trusted leaders, and to something bigger than themselves; Jesus.
Our youth ministry exists to create safe, fun, and meaningful spaces where teens can build friendships, grow in confidence, learn about Jesus and the Bible, and discover who they are in God’s story.
Each week during term time we meet on a Wednesday night for kai, yarns, worship, and heaps of fun.
We often go on missions, sometimes with other youth groups or just on our own. Make sure you follow us on Insta (or reach out to us via the "Contact Us" page) so you're in the loop.
One key event we attend each year is Easter Camp at Spencer Park. Easter Camp is a massive annual Christian youth event held in Christchurch over the Easter weekend, bringing together thousands of young people from churches across the South Island. Organised by local churches in partnership with CYS, the camp includes live music, guest speakers, seminars, sports, and community activities, all centred around exploring the message of Jesus and the meaning of Easter. It’s a high-energy, fun environment where young people can build friendships, ask big questions about faith, and grow in their relationship with God.
If you've never been before and want to know more, hit us up!

Each Sunday we have a junior youth crew that meets during our 1030am service. To learn more head to our "Kids on Sundays" page.
Groms is for year 7+ and includes Bible study that is relevant to lives of our young people. It also (often) involves sugar as well as prayer...!
We’d love to help you get connected. Reach out through the Contact Us bubble on our website or find us on Instagram:
